In 2022, the STM Innovation Fair was the first publisher event we ever visited as Global Campus, and we weren’t even incorporated back then! And this year, 2 years later, we came back for our third visit to this great networking event!

It proved to be a fruitful visit. Not only did we meet with quite some publishers to discuss the start of pilots and their current processes for finding peer reviewers but we also spoke with a lot of (potential) partners. Last year, the outcome of partner conversations at STM were our integrations with DigiCorePro and Kriyadocs and we would definitely recommend you to stay tuned, because there will be more partnership announcements in 2025! The same is true for new customers, but even though contracts are signed, we will officially announce new collaborations in Q1 2025.

Apart from the networking opportunities, the program of the Innovation Fair was interesting as well, with a keynote on digital identities. There were a lot of Lightning Talks with an obvious focus on the use of Generative AI in the peer review process and integrity. After a long and inspiring day, we ended with a great dinner hosted by ALPSP.
