We’re excited to welcome Fabrizio Renzi as our new Medior Developer. Fabrizio brings a strong background in astronomy and astrophysics, with a PhD in Cosmology, and a deep passion for technology, automation, and artificial intelligence.

He previously worked as a researcher in cosmology at the University of Leiden, where he continues to collaborate on innovative projects. After leaving academia, he joined a tech company, where he led a team of developers to create data-driven solutions for the insurance industry, including automated systems for pricing and risk analysis.

Fabrizio is particularly interested in how AI and LLMs can be used to improve research processes, from peer review to knowledge sharing. He’s excited to be part of a team that’s building a platform with real impact on how research is shared and evaluated globally.

“I’m really looking forward to being part of a team that’s using technology to make research more accessible and efficient,” says Fabrizio. “I believe AI has the potential to revolutionize the way we review and share academic work, and I can’t wait to help shape that future.”

When he’s not working, Fabrizio enjoys exploring new cuisines with his girlfriend, playing games, and analyzing stocks and cryptocurrencies for fun.

He’s now joining us to help drive technical innovation and support the continued growth of Global Campus.
